A rainy Sunday

Today is wet and rainy... We are having a relaxing day at home today. We had plans of attending a church with one of our co-workers who speaks very good English and his church has an English service at 4 pm but with not having a phone yet and not knowing how the subway works yet, we are going to wait until next Sunday. He is in the choir so he is not available to take us there and show us the ropes :) Oh well, thats when internet church comes in handy :) I look forward to watching some archived services. With the time difference, we really can't watch any livestreaming services. I thought I would show you a little of our surroundings...

This is our street from our window. All the roads are lined with trees here and I hear it is absolutely gorgeous when they are in bloom. I am really looking forward to that. Jolie says we came at the perfect time because everything is at its worse, so it will only get better :)
I love the mountains in the background. Its been about 13 years since I've lived with mountains surrounding me! I really love the city life, but also the mountains. Its the best of both worlds.

This is the outside of our apartment. It's not much to look at, but we call it home :)
We live above a car mechanic shop.

Now, you may be saying, "Why hasn't she shown us pictures of the apartment!?" Well, be patient. I have pictures of my first look at it but there will be quite a bit of work done on it in the next few weeks so when it is all finished, I will show you the before and after pictures. So much more effective that way. :) But for now, you can see how we are coping...

An ironing board is a priority right now. This just ain't cutting it :)

Our most recent purchase is a life saver! Its our new grocery cart. Now, we don't have to kill our backs when we go grocery shopping and we can buy a few more things at one time as well :)
Oh and did I mention they come with a super cute model? *wink *wink  It's a 2 for 1 sale :)

I hope you have a wonderful day... whatever day it may be for you. Until next post, see ya later.
