A semi-traditional Thanksgiving

This year we had an amazing Thanksgiving with wonderful friends from all across the globe. We had Irish, South Africans, New Zealanders, Canadians, and a few of us Americans. :) It was so much fun sharing all our fun holiday traditions with our friends and allowing them to experience a semi-traditional American Thanksgiving.

The preparations began several days in advance simply due to the small size of my kitchen and that I was baking in a small toaster oven :)

I tried a new thing... ordering groceries online. How fun is that?! :) Its delivered right to your door.
I could get used to that.

Prepping for the big day with Lynn :)

We swapped out the Turkey with some chickens

The massive Spread consisted of:

Chicken and vegetables
Green Bean Casserole
Sweet Potato Souffle
Baked Macaroni and Cheese
Stuffing
Broccoli Casserole
Potato and Bacon Bake
Cous Cous
Cabbage Ramen Salad
Garden Salad

Pumpkin Pie
Apple Pie
Pecan Pie
No Bake Cookies
Rocky Road Bars and Ice Cream

It was a team effort and wow was it delicious!! :)

Group Picture Time...

and a little Gangnam...

After several hours, we started eating again :)

And that folks, is the conclusion of an amazing holiday spent with some pretty awesome friends :)
It was definitely a day full of fun memories.
