Life as it is..

Contrary to popular belief, I have not fallen off the face of the planet :) Life has simply snuck up on me and taken over.. it happens sometimes. Anyways, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! So, while I have been on my little "hiatus" lots of things have been happening. First of all... Robert got a new girlfriend. No not a pretty blonde, they aren't available here :). Try a Royal Enfield motorcycle. Lucky for me, he can't pick it up yet so I still see him on occasion! :) Check it out:

We went to Itewon (of which I have already discussed in a previous post) to get Robert measured for his custom-made suit. While there, we ate at Subway and believe it was like being home. So many lunches in the park and after work... it was glorious

On Saturday, we met up with some friends from Church~ Chris, Hannah, Roger and then later Jay met up with us too. First we went to a Korean war museum with just Chris and Hannah. It was very interesting and I even saw a couple of my students (literally these kids are LEARNING all the time! We saw several groups of field trip kids)

Robert and I waited at our favorite place ...Paris Baguette and enjoyed the sun for the first time in awhile (I am so ready for Spring!)

The Korean War Museum

After we were "museumed out" we headed to meet Roger for Lunch near where we attend church. After lunch we went hiking... however, here's the thing about Korea... if one person does something, everyone does it! It's hysterical. So, the whole hiking thing~ everyone here wears special gear. Literally we were the ONLY ones on the mountain without special clothes, boots, and gear... We felt a tad out of place, plus the fact, we were pretty out of shape... We only hiked for like an hour :)

We celebrated our victory of making it down the mountain by heading over to Starbucks :) After that Jay met us and we went for some yummy Korean supper. It was a fun day spent with friends!

There you have a little of what we've been up to of late... sorry it took so long for me to share :)
